Dear Sir,

Myself Mr.Sanjit Pattnaik, my Tata sky ID is : 1138559446 from Cuttack, Odisha, using  TATA SKY since the year 2014. I never faced such type of fraudulent activity that I faced in last May 2019.

I am briefing the grievance as follows and hope I will receive the satisfactory response from you.

I am from CDA, Cuttack, Odisha, faced a severe cycloan (FANI)on 3rd May 2019 which is well-known to everybody whoever staying in India. In that cycloan my Tata sky Dish had been uprooted from the place where it was installed. Due to FANI here there was no electricity and Mobile network.

After some days i received a message from TATA Sky that, “there will be no engineer visit charge if you will lodge the complain with in 15th May.” (Particularly the customers belongs to Cycloan affected area.)

(Message: Tata sky ରେ କିଛି ଯାନ୍ତ୍ରିକ ଅସୁବିଧା ହେଉଛି କି? 18602086633 ରେ କଲ କରି ଇନଷ୍ଟାଲର କୁ ବୁକ କରନ୍ତୁ 15 ମଇ 2019 ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ବିନା କୌଣସି ଅତିରିକ୍ତ ଶୁକ୍ଳ ରେ)

On the basis of that message i had lodged my 1st complain on 7th May 2019, at around 5PM and the TATA sky agent assured me that one engineer will be visited within 48-72 hrs of lodging the complain. (The call might have recorded which can be retrieved).

Then passed the 48 hrs, 72hrs….. and i waited for long 7 days. Then again I called Tata & asked for the resolution then he replied me in a peculiar manner,” sir, we have received more than 2lakhs complain, and the outside is very hot and the engineer is afraid of moving out, so you have to wait till you receive a call from engineer.” (Recorded call can be checked).

Then I waited for few days and again called to Tata, but nobody was there to listen me instead of enhancing the time period for 48hrs,72hrs….and so on….

Then i contacted the Tata Sky care at CDA Cuttack, Odisha at our locality. One Lady named Rashmirekha sent an engineer who installed the dish from where it was uprooted. And i was happy as my problem was solved anyhow after 20 days.

After that I started receive the call from TATA sky for asking me, whether the problem has been resolved or not. And i finally replied, ” yes, the problem is solved.” And the whole drama started from there. Then I suddenly received the below message,”

Greetings from Tata Sky, Charges payable towards WO# 1GMXRA0D completed on  – 23/05/2019 – is Rs.900/- . For any further queries, please call 1860 208 6633..”

And debited my account for Rs.900/- and my balance was in negetive i.e -483/-. I stunned completely. How can they forcefully deduct my money in unauthorized way.

Immediately i called Tata sky, they replied, “your dish has been relocated and the proper charge has been debite.”
Oh my god, where have i relocated, due to cycloan only the dish had uprooted and the engineer fixed again at the same place where it was. There is no question of relocation. From October 2018 it was there you can check.
This thing i am trying to convince since last month but in vain.
They are only taking complain and ignoring.

Waited hours after hour, no money refunded. Again and again i am calling Tata sky and they giving me time of 48hrs.

 After few days Rs.300/- had been refunded and my another hard earning money Rs.600/- gone in air.

 Many times I was asking for the TATA SKY grievance redressal contact but they were denying by saying there is no such contact.

Dear sir, I am completely frustrated, nobody is there to listen my voice. I am helpless.

Hope you will enquiry the whole issue in detail and give a satisfactory solution and return my money of Rs.600/- which is forcefully deducted.

And I hope my writing to you won’t go in vain and i will receive the justice.
