Issue: I received a call from the above mentioned company, regarding work from home (form filling), from a certain Rahil (+91 99134 96842). I’m a student pursuing PG, so I took up the work. After filling out 150+ forms, my ID got blocked. I dialled the customer care department but, there was no response. The next day, I received a call from an advocate, who claimed his name to be Pramod Kumar. He started putting allegations against me, that I had flouted the legal contract and started blackmailing me to pay a fine of ₹9,500/- else, I’d have to pay ₹1lakh at the court. He got personal with me too, up to the level of questioning my morality! This person’s real name is Surya Pathak but, he calls himself Pramod Kumar (+91 73598 20234). There are discrepancies between the profile picture of WhatsApp account and Google images search results. They had asked for scanned copies of my Aadhar card & passport-size photograph. However, I didn’t reveal anything about my transaction details despite, receiving an email asking me to submit the same. I demand that action be taken against such thugs, looting the nation and innocent cibilians!
