I booked a car and selected the time as 9.00 am 10/12/2022 to 7.00pm 11/12/2012. The app defaulted the times to 2.00am 10/12/2022 to 11.30 am 11/12/2022. When I saw the booking confirmation email I realised the issue and called the customer care number. I was told that they can see that the time is what I wanted I.e. 9.00 am and 7.00 pm. I left it that. On the day of pickup it was clear that the default ones were picked up. I had to pay extra RS. 1433/- and there was no way I could have made it back in time.
Issue number 1- bad website/ app setting that changes the user selected times
Issue number 2- bad customer service advice when they confirmed the order reflects the time I wanted, when it actually didn’t
Issue 3- No formal complaint process- I can only share ‘feedback’
Issue 4- no interest/ effort to resolve or even understand customer issue- ‘cannot do’ / ‘don’t have option’
