I had raised a complaint with AO Smith regarding my geyser. A person wearing the AO Smith T-Shirt, with all the details about my name, my phone number and my geyser issue, came to my home. He claimed that he replaced a part and demanded Rs. 1,500 for it.
We later got a call from the Customer Care team that this person is not their technician, and we should have checked his details before letting him in.
I have no idea as to if this person stole something from my house. While I will definitely check the details in the future, the question is – How can AO Smith’s system leak my details to a random stranger!
