Respeced Sir/Ma’am,
I was to book an air-ticket for my nephew from Belgaum, Karnataka to Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. I searched for an air ticket online booking on google, and appeared the name of this website called TRAVOLOOK (https://www.travolook.in/).
I booked the ticket and made the payment using my Debit Card for the amount of INR 6353.00 which got deducted instantly but there was no information of Booking or its receipt on the website. There was a mail sent to me by the said website from “support@travolook.in” with the headline “Flight booking In-Progress with Booking Ref : REF595285283“.
After waiting for a few minutes, when nothing changed and it was a matter of urgency for me and my nephew who was to travel on 8th April’21 for his NDA SSB Exam.
I looked up on Google to check the website’s contact details, instead I found many bad reviews for the company. Then, I called its customer care on 0124-643-4800 and after waiting for some 10 minutes a CCE named Imran answered and put me on hold for another 5 minutes after knowing my query. Then, he responded and said that due to technical or official reasons, the booking has been cancelled. He also insisted that the issue is from the Airline’s end which I highly doubt.
I told him the urgency of matter and that my nephew needs to be there as its the question of career, but even then the response of the CCE was “You will get refund in 10-15 working days”. He kept on repeating this like it was all scripted.
The thing is that there have been many reviews and complaints about the company which I found out when I was trying to get the company’s details.
Yet this site is still working and making the fool out of the customers.
I request the authorities to help me get back my i.e. INR 6353.00 and also take an appropriate action against the company.
I had to take a loan to book another ticket for my nephew as his presence was most important in Bhopal for his career.
