I have received a letter from Napptol mentioning that we have won 750000 cash prize in a scratch and win lucky draw. The letter is received from Kolkata-:

City tower complex, Sasthitala lane, Atghara, New Town, Kolkata, WB 700052
69827745 Helpline number to redeem the prize
The person asked for bank account number, IFSC code and account holder name to transfer the money.
We believed that is true so we gave the account number and all details to them.
1st they asked me to pay 7500 and the state GST you have to pay like that they told to pay22500 we paid both the amount….and then if u pains this your amount will be credited like that they said…and after that they told me to pay again 22,500 ..now only we thought this would be fraud. Then we asked them to refund the amount but they are not listening to us. So plz take severe action on them…plz tell what’s the remedy for us

One of my friend also received similar post from meesho and the address is same. I am not sure what is the action taken for this.

HI myself also received coupon from the Ajio online shopping private limited a scratch and win coupon card. When i scratched the card it stated that I have won 750000.I was very much in surprise that how is this possible. I called the number given in the letter and they said that “congratulations you have won the amount 750000 please fill the form and whatsapp to the number mentioned in the letter. Then I still had doubt and came across this website which had the same address and same winning amount. Yes, my doubt came true and I really need to thank people who have given complaints which can save others from these fraudsters. I called up the number again and told them you are fake then the person cut the call which it was obvious.
What I suggest is that if anyone gets letter like these (that too postal letter) please call the respective company customer care DO A CHECK whether company is really providing the offer or drop them a mail regarding it and then proceed.
I received a similar post in the name of Ajio from the same. It says that I won 7.5 lakhs in a lucky draw on the occasion of anniversary of the website. I had the doubt of fraud and it proved true when I checked this page. Thank you for posting the complaint.
