Today 18th Jan.2025, at around 2pm, One Vikas Patel pretending as an Army personnel posted in Sahapore Army Camp, West Bengal had posted an ad in olx for selling a scooty. As i asked him for RC book of scooty, he sent me a photo of RC book on whatsapp. The scooty wS registered in the name of Yom Bdr . Gurung of Gangtok, Sikkim. The fraudster said that Yom Bdr. is his friend & he had purchased the scooty from him. He said he has all the forms & NoC of sale deed signed by Yom Bdr. He said that the scooty is in Kolkata & in case if o purchase it he assured me to send it through transport. So he sent me a bar scan and asked me to send Rs.2000 as transport charge. I paid it through PhonePe. Sfter thst he sent me a transport booking receipt. Again he asked me to pay Rs.6999 as GPS activation charge for transporting the scooty.Now i got suspicious & threatened him of filing FIR agsinst him for fraud & cheating. On searching his name in Google i found that he is a professional scammer.
