This is regarding a fake call I received yesterday morning saying my number received a gift on account of the purchase I did in Dec’20
I received the call from 9674183992 number from a person named Anjali Verma from sales and promotions department. She asked me to purchase any product more the 4999/- and add in the cart of Amazon App. I opted to buy Samsung solo microwave 23 L worth 5200/-
I was given a list of gift options and was asked to choose any one of the gifts as below.
- Dell laptop 15.6 inches
2. Sony LED TV 40 inches
3. Apple iPhone 11
4. Voltage AC 1.5 tons
5. LG refrigerator 350 lts double door
I selected the 1st option. They asked me to pay for the item I want to purchase, I paid them via paytm to below details:
BENEFICIARY NAME: Sales and Promotion
IFSC code – PYTM0123456
Goutam Budha Nagar, Noida Branch, Uttar Pradesh.
Account Number – 916xxxxxx6412
Amount transferred – 5200
On payment they gave me a order number of the product – 542347268413 which was for Samsung microwave 23L. Then they mentioned now you will get call from despatch department to verify the details. Got call in 20 mts from despatch department from abhishek Chaudhary, cell no. 9051553516, he mentioned Indian Govt. is not accepting the GST amount for Laptop paid by Amazon, so I have to pay 9600/- extra which they will refund in 10 sec in my account. He even shared the invoice which is attached herewith. They also mentioned they have paid insurance amount of 11000/- for 2 years from their pocket. On this I understood I am trapped and a fraud is happening. I asked him to refund my 5200/-, he said will check with his seniors and come back. Abhishek phone is still working but he is not responding. Anjali no. is switched off
Looks I have lost an amount 5200 because of this fraud.
Your immediate action and help will be highly appreciated and stop this racket so that no more people get into it.

I also got same type call with these 5 gifts
I got convinced by their talks and started doing as they said……I finally reached my phone pe account and added the account told by them with my phone pe …..I was about to do the payment of 5000 …..but dunno what instigated me to look into the matter so I didn’t entered the amount and keeping the scammer on hold I started searching for this on Google,I am lucky enough to find this page at right time and after seeing all this I was able to conclude that I would have became a target for the scammer but to my luck at the very end moment something inside me asked me to look into this scam.
Thank God I am not scammed I wish those who got scammed by these fraud people will get justice soon.
I also got the same call with same options today.
I realized it is a scam immediately.
Their phone number keeps on changing. Now it is 8902939550
