I was looking for online part-time jobs when I received a call from a 3rd party person to work for EBOOKTYPER. The work was to fill 10000 captchas in 10 days, and the payment was Rs 3 per captcha. The girl on the other side told me that the registration fees will be charged from my 1st payment. When they created my account and shared the website and passwrod, the website seemed fake, but I still proceeded.
I worked for 2-3 days and did not get proper reports from the dashboard and the work that i did, which was also being marked as wrong. After which I contacted the customer service team via email. There was only 1 reply from them that the report is system generated and they cannot do anything in that.
I mentioned to them in the email, that if I will not get the correct report and proper support, I won’t be liable to work and pay any registration amount.
Now I got an email from advocate.manoj@ahmedabadhighcourt.in stating that the company has filed a complaint.

May I have your number? I am facing the same issue but have not yet faced the problem of legal proceedings. I am just doing the work right now. But if they just go for legal proceedings, I won’t answer and ignore. Can I have your number so that we may have a conversation regarding the same?
I received a message today from 9817076933 to pay this number rs.8000 or else legal action would be taken.
Did you receive any calls for the same?

These are all fake. Just ignore and block them.

I have received a message from this number 9817076933.
“Dear hard copy of your notice of breach of contract under section 73&74 has been dispatched to your address.you have joined ebooktyper company and did not complete their work/90% accuracy was not their kindly do payment of rs.8000 to 9817076933(googlepay,phonepe,paytm) and send screenshot to inspector ajay http://wa.me/919817076933 and also check ur mail send by inspector@ahmedabadpolice.co.in” and FIR has been registered FIR NO-11191007210519 advocate manoj you can check on(fir.gujarat.gov.in)kindly clear your dues otherwise legal action would be taken by court and police,legal arrest warrant is issued against you seres no-GJ19827401 and soon it has been forward to local police.
Hey don’t worry about this. Just ignore it. It’s all just fraud and is done to capture money from your end. If you search the suffixes of the mail ID from where the mail has been sent, you would be directed to a website which does not even exist and google will give you a warning of the website not being registered and encrypted. So just ignore and report them if possible to your local police station or else file a case against them in consumer forum.

Is they send hard copy of any legal notice to any one of you.
It’s alright. Even if you get, they’re all fake. Just block and ignore them.
