I had posted by 2 bhk property on magicbricks. On 12th February I received call from Deepak Pawar claiming to be CISF officer from Pune and wanted to urgently shift his base to Vaishali, Ghaziabad, he said he liked the photos and will not be able to see the flat physically by himself and wanted to pay the deposit through his Indian army account. On 13th February we received a call from guy named Akshay Kumar Chennamaneni claiming to be the accountant of Deepak Pawar. He told us to add his bank account and money will be deducted by his account and for for verification we did receive 5 rupees then we proceeded with rest of the payment and around 98000 were deducted from our 2 bank accounts by Deepak Pawar and Akshay Kumar Chennamaneni who kept on saying that we are from Indian army and you should trust us. We also got a bit carried away after hearing about Indian army and seeing army id cards and identity proof, I am not mad that these two bastards scammed us of 98000 but more mad about the fact that they have been using the Indian army name and have been scamming of people since 2022 and getting away with it.
