I searched for a PG in Mumbai on google and got result as Rahul Gangwar PG/Hostels on Magicbricks.com.
I tried to contact them and the magicbricks site required my details to provide their full contact details.When I got the detail and called them,they demanded 2000 Rs as booking amount and then to visit the site physically.I paid them 2000 and shared SS to them.
They asked for my adhar card photo and a call came on my no. for verification.That verifying person asked me to send 6010 Rs,where he was saying that he’ll refund 8000 to me and 10 Rs will be deducted.I mistakenly sent 8000 and again he called me to send 8010,as he was unable to send without those additional 10 rupees. He told me that there is an website issue so he has given my phone number to his manager and he will contact me. He cut the phone then. I tried many times to contact him but he didn’t pick up the phone.Then I received a message on whatsap from mobile no :- 9124230382 he told ne that I am the manag of that PG . Then I ask him for the refund. He said that sir we don’t do payment in parts, there is a limit of our payment machine. Our payment machine limit is showing 30000 sso you have to pay another 12000 and I will refund you 30000 immediately. I paid him 120000 as I was scared of losing my money. After payment I called him and asked for refund .
l understood that it’s scam but he told me that once I send him 20000Rs,he’ll refund my 50000together.I sent him 20000 and again he started to demand 20010 as the system isn’t responding amd told sir you have to pay 200010 otherwise your money will be locked and would not be refunded. I paid him 20010. He call me again and start asking for another 300000 .I understood here that I’ve been frauded by these scamsters.Total 2000+8010+8010+12010+20000+20000 Rupees of mine were lost.Please help in this regard sir and punish these people to stop these actions with anyone else.
