I have received a call on my mobile phone today dated 13.4.2024 at around 8.50 am from cell number 8175205279, 8169206673 and claimed that I have sent some parcel with my Adhar id to Taiwan which has been blocked. However he could not tell me my aadhar number. When I refused him not having sent any such parcel with the said courier service provider he asked me to go to cyber crime cell in andheri and lodge a complaint. He claimed that he an employee of fedex international courier services with employee number fx57216.
He also informed me that the payment of the parcel has been made through ICICI CREDIT CARD with last four digit numbers 2124.
To me it appears that it is a fraudulent call as i have neither booked any parcel through fedex company or to any other courier company nor do I have any Credit Card with ICICIBank. I, therefore, request you to kindly take a note on this fradulent call and take suitable action against them.
