I received a whatsapp and call from a person saying that I have an outstand loan of amount 2800 and need to pay that immediately and if not then they will block my aadhar and pan card. I first thought that this is just a Phishing scam and let it aloan and blocked the number. Later while checking my bank statement 5 days back there is 1680 amount credited in my bank, from where I do not know.
Later I got a call again from a call center type place and asked the same to repay the loan or my documents will be blocked. I cut the call and later I got a whatsapp message from a temporary number from pakistan to repay the amount.
Anyhow I have repaid the amount and asked them not to call back and informed my bank to stop these transactions from the ID and inform about the incident. I guess the best way is to pay the amount off to these scamsters and get rid of them.
Also I am checking with bank to temporary block transaction s or atleast if there is any inward money coming then i need a notification.
