In Sep. 2022 The Caller introduced himself as Vikram Chauhan (Ph 76690 56389) from the Government Body of Insurance Council stating that my existing ICICI policy (98292616 ) is not giving much returns and he will help me in getting the policy shifted to a better company in a better plan. he told that the ICICI policy will not remain effective instead new policy will get enforced for the remaining term of the ICICI policy (a total 5 years policy, 2 paid-up premiums, hence the new policy will be of 3 years with additional benefits).
He got me a new Reliance Insurance policy 54179992 which had a guaranteed maturity benefit. Vikram told me that loyalty additions at the end of the policy terms would accumulate as shown in the table of policy doc attached (pages 23-24) (Password is mentioned as PDF name) i.e 12210 + 24420 and so on for Year On Year basis.. the benefits sound promising and I agreed and initiated the policy in Oct 2022. But in April 2023 I received msg from ICICI for premium payment. I approached Vikram back and he told me that the premium will not get debited. At the April 2023 end when the premium got debited a gain approached Vikram he told me that he has sent an email for the return of the premium charged by ICICI. But in spite of a discussion with him, I was not looped in the email… further, I asked for sharing the screenshot of the email he sent to ICICI, which also has not been shared yet (2 days elapsed today) that things got complicated and fishy. In spite of repeatedly stating that I am not able to pay 2 premiums simultaneously, He put me in this scam where my hard-earned money, which is the only source to support my family and their future wellbeing, seems to be lost.
I urge you to please help me in this regard on an urgent basis.
