Yesterday,i got a call from this person named amit kumar.He said he is getting transferred from assam to hyderabad and needed a flat.Around 10:30 he was doing payment through the army accountant,that is when i realised that no army office will be working after 8.He was saying “indian army works 24 hours”.That is when i searched on the internet and got to know he was a fraud.
I received call from these 2 numbers:

This same guy called my and gave the same story. Gave all the id documents readily, and searching for those documents showed that he is a fraud..

Same happened with me as well
This fraud happened with me as well.. They are calling with number – 7854028125 & 784706922.
They are swearing in the name of Indian Army uniform. They should be killed.
This fraud name Amit Kumar called me around 10:30 p.m from 7854028125 number. Asking me to provide Google pay/ Paytm details to transfer money as he is shifting from Delhi to Ahmedabad.

The same guy called on phone numbers 7852905860 and 8926391273 on the name of amit kumar and ss tiwari acting to be a tenant and told that their army officer will deposit amout and fooled me to send money through google pay and I had never used bank transfer option in google pay and he gave his account details and along with my name and asked me to request for money advance for rented home of 35k and I know that it is for sending money and not for requesting money so I added 1 rupee and sent him and then he told he will deposit 2 rupees but that never happened
The same dude scammed me aswell. He had an ad on olx for an ac. I called him and he said he is an army guy and is selling it because hes stationed somewhere else now and has to leaave urgently. they will do the delivery and installation for free. I just need to make the initial payment of 2000 and the rest I can pay once the delivery is complete. I thought this was reasonable and payed it but then he called again saying theyre at the terminal and theyre doing the checkup of the product and so I need to pay another 6000. I said no and he proceeded to videocall me and my sister for less than 1 minute where it looked like the camera was pointed at a laptop screen or something like that where he was wearing an army suit and said “You will have to make the payment maam” and then hung up right away and then voicecalled my sister. She said “do you think were idiots? You cant speak for more than a minute?” And then he proceeded to get angry at her and then hungup. Has been ghosting me since then and hasnt returned the 2000. Thankfully it was just that much and nothing more.
He even sent me id pictures and I took a screenshot of the videocall roght away cause it looked sketchy adding all screenshots below :
