My mother and my brother (Celebral Pulse – Handicap) had planned for a trip to Dubai on Nov 21, 2019 through Kesavi Tours to celebrate his birthday as he is handicap and cannot travel on this own. We planned this trip last minute as we were getting a good deal through Kesavi and with the assurance of Visa by Mr. Mohammed (Branch Head, Mumbai). I asked him several times on the bookings, application and confirmation of Visa, he always gave me comfort by saying not to worry.
I did the full and final payment of the trip on Nov 18, 2019 still he did not share any documents like flight tickets, hotel vouchers on that day. He always consoled me by saying that don’t worry everything would be in place by Nov 20, 2019 i.e. 24 hours before the trip. Suddenly on Nov 20, 2019 at 3pm he said that the Visa of my brother is rejected and they are re-applying it using urgent services and the Visa would be available by midnight or latest by morning 7am as the departure of the flight was at 1pm. The Visa got rejected around 12 noon on Nov 20, 2019 and Mr. Mohammed took 3 hours to inform this to me, post which he re-applied for Visa around 5pm with additional documents that is like end of the day as Visa offices close by 6pm. Then it was practically impossible for them to arrange the Visa. Why did we spend these 5 hours? It clearly indicates that Kesavi wanted to do a fraud and harass its customers.
The reason for selecting this trip was looking at advertisements in Midday Gujarati newspaper. The entire night I was awake and crying in tears with the hope that Visa would come because my brother is handicap and cannot travel aloan. Also, when his Visa were expected to get delayed so Kesavi didn’t even gave me an option that don’t worry we would reschedule both the flights to give you a delightful experience. His Visa came at 12.40pm on Nov 21, 2019 and the departure of the flight was 1pm (Gate closes before 30 mins for international flights), whats the point of giving such Visas. Who has gone to see at what time actually the Visa were generated as Kesavi wanted to do a FRAUD. Kesavi also canceled all the bookings of my brother like sight seeing, dinner, excursions, hotel room, etc. almost amounting to Rs. 40,000 as his Visa got delayed and he couldn’t travel. This clearly indicates a Fraud.
It has been a month now I haven’t received any revert to my emails sent to Kesavi Mumbai office almost every week and also no resolution to the above problem. Being a Travel Advisor/agent why didn’t you modify the timings of flight when you knew that the Visa has got rejected and it is getting delayed? This clearly shows that they wanted to do FRAUD to meet your sales target. They took money of 2 passengers but looted money of the other passenger when you realized the Visa has got rejected. Without a Visa why did they do all the bookings and now not ready to refund any amount.
It would be highly obliged if you can help me on this as Kesavi Travels is not cooperating and constantly ignoring me now.
