1.I entered my personal details on Quickr regarding Work From Home jobs.
2. I get a call from a company named OPTIBASE. 15/04/2021. They tell me that I will have to fill 600 forms in 5 days for which they will pay Rs34.5 per form. They right away ask for my personal details like my Email id and the picture of my Identity Proof. They make an account for me right after few seconds and ask me to login to that account with only one device.
3. I ask what is the guarantee of receiving money from their end to which they sent me a contract. According to that legal contract, I will be paid the amount only if the amount of correct forms are above 540. Rs 6900 will be deducted from what I earn as the Registration Amount. And it also said that if the maximum limit of accuracy of forms(540) is not reached, I will have to pay the Registration amount from my own side to the company.
4.Since the contract was already made by them and it had all my personal details, I got a bit suspicious and nervous as I did want to fall for any fraud. I called the person who contacted me from the company(her contact details- 9583525402) and asked her that why was I being asked to pay an amount if Iam unable to complete on time or if the forms are wrong. She told me “Dont worry maam, if you’re unable to complete and want to just leave you can tell me anyday, You wont be charged anything”
5.I knew I could complete those forms if I try hard and maybe I’ll get some money if this place is trustworthy. I had nothing to lose. So i started the work. With all my effort, sitting infront of the laptop day-and-night, checking each and every form thrice before submitting, I somehow completed the target within the time in 5 days. I was pretty happy since I was sure there were definitely no mistakes since i took my sisters help for cross-checking each form before submitting and correcting any mistake.
6. After submitting. I see my report which says I have failed the task and 120 forms are incorrect. I somehow had a feeling that this company was fake but seeing that made me feel devastated. It was completely IMPOSSIBLE that 120 forms out of 600 could go wrong. I saw the mistakes in the incorrect forms shown in that report. I am a skilled typist and there was no way I could make such big mistakes in my typing. It was definitely a fraud. I felt like I wasted my 5 days and was disappointed.
7.Next day(20/04/2021) I call on the helpline number provided by the company(7202845482) and tell them that I have been scammed by them and I asked them to show me the correct report since I can never believe I had made 120 forms wrong. I told them that I want my money and I will like to talk to the Head officer. The woman on call kept on saying we have 11 employees who are being paid and the server cannot be wrong. I have made 120 forms incorrect so they cannot do anything. Helplessly, I give up.
8. Two days later(22/04/2021) I receive an email, a Legal Intimation Letter from an Advocate of that company (ADV. VISHNU SINGH) saying that I have to pay the registration amount to the company or else I will be charged under Section 17 of Indian Contact Act for negligence of payment and Section 420 of IPC for doing fraud for non-payment of registration amount. I the payment is not done then the case will be transferred to an Arbitrary court.
9. I call the company’s helpline number and the person who contacted me on behalf of the company but none answered. Then I decided to call the lawyer, I called him and asked him the matter regarding the email. I explained my situation to him by telling that I was not told that I will have to Pay any money and that the company was doing a fraud by showing wrong data. He was not ready to listen and interrupted me by saying ” Please come to the point and tell whether you will pay the amount or shall I forward the case to the court” I kept on saying that this is not right and its impossible 120 forms could go wrong. He asked again if he should forward the case or not. to which I angrily said ” I will definitely not pay a single rupee since you all are running a fake company” and he interrupted by saying “Ok” and put my call on hold.
Please look into the matter as I do not want anyone else to fall into such traps and I dont want to pay any kind of money.

I am too working for them now,they blocked my account for no reason .what can I do??
Same with me and i am really scared.They daily sent me emails for taking legal action.

We appreciate your Hard work which you have done day/night without seeing the time for the company to achieve the goal of 90% of the accuracy to get payment from the company , or may some time happens that not all time but some time helpline have not reply of your mail due to your not understanding the question and when you raise your Question you be on Quick but you must know that there is so much other reply of the customer they need to give answer too, When Lawyer called you please don’t we so frustrated we called you to resolve your matter and your issue and Which case has been assign to us and you must know in the agreement comes under these categories non submission / QC fail then you need to make payment of registration fees to our client else If you don’t make payment to our client as per an Indian Contract Act 1872 section 17 shall be imposed on you for negligence of payment and We also want to inform you that section 420 of IPC shall be imposed on you for doing fraud with our client for non payment of Registration amount and for what so ever condition it is not acceptable.
Abusive words : Section 66 A shall be imposed for using abusive words with our client and advocate legal firm.
Non Payment : If payment is not done then your case shall be transferred for further proceeding at an Arbitrary court, An arbitrary and conciliation act of 1996 as per an article 14 shall be imposed on you and you might need to pay Rs. 72105/ – for total loss to our client.
Legal Notice : It is like a final warning to the receiver that the sender is all prepared to initiate a legal action and it is the final opportunity for the receiver to resolve the issue in hand properly.
Today till 12:30 pm sharp you have time to resolve the matter or else as per the court – contempt of court case will be applied on you and you will be in the big mass.

same company but different advocate really do we have to pay?
No don’t pay . They all are frauds. Call tham and talk like police ,prank them or say in police station

Did something happened after that notice thing? Actually the same happened to me i didn’t get any notice yet but they blocked my working Id and asking me to pay 4200/- to unblock it. Even they said me that i can quit anytime i want but i have to inform them in advance but they NEVER mentioned that this is for first 24 hours…

Kiran here….even I got a call from same company itself today I sent all my documents and they sent me a email of login id but that id was not working so I said it’s not working kindly look into that…… After that I got to know that company is fake I said them to cancel all those things and stop the processing…… If in case if I get any notice what I need to do really I need to pay r what???? I paid 15000 today? and still they are asking me to pay 13800 more to assign a new work for me, if not they arr asking me to withdraw my agreement by paying 25000, if not they will again send me legal notice they said, but am not ready to pay now, so i decided to cal my uncle who is a police, he said me all those are cyber crimes dont send any money to them, so i regret and i feel pity for me for paying 15000, those are frauds, i understood now?
I also received a mail like this they are not telling me to leave the work in 24 hours and they dont tell me about any penalty for doing work they only say if your id is blocked then u can pay the charges is they can complaint the case against me I really scared
