I joined Marlon Solution on 31-5-2021. They offered to pay me 15,000 the first week in return for a data entry job concerning captchas. The company called me and promised to pay Rs.15,000 for 7,000 captcha entries in 7 days out of which 6,300 entries were required to be correct.
They sent me my report at 6pm daily for all the entries I had filled in the previous day. I noticed on the first day that the report they had sent me was full of errors and held me liable for mistakes I had not made in the first place. I wrote to them an e-mail concerning their mistake and they did mot respond to it properly. The second day my report was submitted to me with yet again a bunch full of errors that I did not commit. I wrote an e-mail to the company yet again and they did not respond properly or acknowledge my complaint. Each day the report was similar. So I accepted the fact that this company was clearly trying to scam me and wanted an easy way out to not pay me the salary as promised by making my errors much more than just 700 entries. Therefore, I decided to not continue this job and stopped with a little more than 6,000 entries.
After this week was over, I decided to leave this matter here and not take any legal action against them.
On 08-06-2021, a man who claimed to represent the company called me up and asked me to pay a sum of Rs.6,900 as a penalty for not completing the 7000 entries. He tries to convince and threaten me to pay this amount within a short period of time by claiming that I was legally bound by it. When I got furious over his audacity to ask me this and asked him his name and the address of this fraudulent company, he decided to cut my call. I wish to take strict legal action against the fraudulent activities of this company.
I have looked into it and this company is firstly not a registered company under the Indian Companies Act,2013. I have also found that many other people have been victim to the fraudulent activities of this company.
