We had checked for carpenters on justdial. One of the carpenters approached us. He visited us, brought the catalogue and we finalized a sofa design. We then went to his workshop and found it to be genuine because he had lot of WIP furnitures and his staff was around. We agreed to pay the advance but he dint hav the bill boom, so he said he would send d same over whatsapp. He sent it over whatsapp, the invoice has the company name, ph no, address, mail id, etc. However, it does nt have our name on it. He then kept delaying tge delivery citing various reasons, so we again visited his store after 2 weeks. He promised delivery within a week, its more than a month since we are following up with him, he kept on postponing and in last few days, he has stopped responding or recieving the calls totally. We are unabke to recover the advance or get the furniture delivered. Raised the issue with justdial as well, they have not taken any action for providing details of a fraudster.
