[2:03 PM, 1/6/2021] Sarmistha Mom: With due respect Sir,
I am Ashit Malik, during this covid19 situation I got a call regarding online job from 9820038082 number on 8th December, 2020. As they have told me it will be work from home so at first I showed interest. After this they told me to send my id-proof immediately and I did it accordingly (I send my voter id). Then they sent me a link from this email ([email protected]) and forcefully took my digital signature which I didn’t want to do. According to their given information the company name is : Rectitude Technology Company but the link they provided was from some another company and that is www.rectitudehrservices.com . So that very moment I contacted the website owning company and they told me that they are not giving any such kind of job opportunity thus I understood it’s a scam. After knowing all this things I called them up several times and also send them message in WhatsApp and also sent mail to deactivate this procedure but they blocked me everywhere and also didn’t pick up my call. This whole incident happened on the same day of incident.
On 19th December,2020 they sent me a mail from the mail id : [email protected] stating that they have issued a case file under SECTION of 73-74-75 of Indian Contract Act 1872 of Contract Breach against me as under law that mention on THE AGREEMENT “ if you have NOT SUCCEEDED on your job Then YOU HAVE TO PAY THE PENALTY AMOUNT” and they even called me up and told me that I have to pay 10,000 rs to settle this problem mutually otherwise I have to go to court to sort out this matter with large amount of penalty. After that I ignored this mail and call as I understood it’s a fraud call. But again today on 6th January, 2021 they sent me mail from the mail id : [email protected] stating “This Intimation LETTER Informs you That Rectitude Technology can file a case under the SECTION of 73-74-75 of The Indian Arbitration & Conciliation Act, 1996 for contract breach against you as under law that mention on THE AGREEMENT that if you have not SUCCEEDED ON YOUR JOB or NOT COMPLETED Then YOU HAVE TO PAY THE PENALTY AMOUNT.” This time they again called me up from the number 7203975772 and said the same thing as before with a threat that they will send a legal notice against me.
Because of the above stated matter, now I am suffering a lot so kindly help me by taking proper action against this and please guide me what to do next regarding this matter. I hope this will be sorted out soon with your kind concern then I’ll be grateful to you.
