I am completely annoyed by the customer service of RBL Bank and the fraud that happened with me.
First of all, I was offered a Shoprite card with the limit of 4.27 Lakh (final limit) without any fees. And, the KYC verification completed at my doorstep.
After that, A call came from RBL Bank and told me that I was being provided Platinum Maxima with an annual charge of 2,000 rupees. I made a lot of arguments that I want Shoprite and not maxima.
Then, I mailed to RBL Bank about the fraud. After some day, I got a call from a Customer representative asking for whether my issue got resolved or not. I told her that I don’t want Platinum Maxima, I want shoprite with no annual charges as promised. She suggested not to accept the card, and they will resolve the issue as soon as possible.
As suggested, I returned the card. After that, I got a call from Customer care regarding non delivery of credit card. I told everything. He said that shoprite card have annual fees of Rs 500. Then, I told them I don’t want any credit card and to cancel it.
Today (on 25.12.2020), I received the credit card statement of Rs 2,360 in my Email. I called customer care, and she told me that there is no way to cancel the card. If I don’t receive the card, it will not get cancelled and if I don’t pay the fees, the interest will be charged on it.
So, What I call all these things that are happening to me. Can it be called a fraud?
The whole thing is wasting a lot of my precious time after working hours that I devote to preparation of the cibil service exam.
I don’t find anything (apnapan) that you call your Bank as Apno Ka Bank.
Lastly, my only request is to Cancel my card, remove the fees and I don’t want any card neither shoprite nor platinum maxima.
Please take my request seriously and reply to the mail as soon as possible otherwise I have to opt for other options.
