Text of Complaint by Om Prakash Kumar:

I have ordered LG G8X(Black 128GB) from Flipkart on 19th December 2020 order id:-OD120524198971308000 through my HSBC Credit card on 12 months EMI.
The total cost debited from my HSBC Credit card was Rs 25073. The mobile was canceled on 22nd December 2020.
I got partial refund of (Rs 24790 + Rs 183) = Rs 24973 in my HSBC Credit card.But I have not got the refund of Rs 100 in my credit card.
I talked over the HSBC banking officer to close my EMI. But HSBC bank has not processed my request and asked me to contact Flipkart to get the remaining
amount (Rs 100) credited to HSBC Credit Card so that my EMI will get canceled.

At the suggestion of the Bank, I have connected to Flipkart on 24th December 2020 and raised the complaint(INCIDENT ID: IN2012241506305971012).
The customer care executive assured me that you will get the resolution by 26th December 2020. But on 26th December 2020, my date was extended to 29th December 2020.
But I have not got the refund of Rs 100 on my credit card on 29th December 2020 also. Again my Date of resolution is extended till 31st December 2020.
In this process, I have several calls to the Flipkart Escalation Department and customer care executive plus the back-end team who was working on the ticket.
As assured by the escalation Department that I will get my resolution by 31st Night 2020. But I have not got the resolution and the date was extended to 1st Jan 2021.

On 1st Jan 2021, I got 1 email that Rs 100 is added to the Flipkart wallet which was not my concern. As I wanted the Rs 100 in my credit card and informed the same several times to the Escalation department of Flipkart and Customer Care executive over the phone and email also.
I again raised this issue with the Senior Most Escalation Team member of Flipkart, that my concern is to close my EMI but he also gave me the fake assurance and commitment that Rs 100 will be credited on the HSBC Credit card. On 7th January I got a call from the Escalation Department of Flipkart that a Refund cannot be processed in my HSBC Credit Card.

On the other hand, I was also willing to pay Flipkart Rs 100 and conveyed this information to Flipkart many times, so that Flipkart transfer that amounts in my HSBC Credit card for my EMI CLosure. But even this also was not done by Flipkart.

During this period from 24th December 2020 till 7th Jan 2021, I have been mentally frustrated just because of this Rs 100 and not getting proper resolution from Flipkart.
I have never ever imagined that this type of fraud will happen from Flipkart’s side. But it happened.

So I have lodged a complaint against Flipkart in Consumer Court. I have all the supporting evidence.
