On 18 th October 2024 i received a call from a lady named Anamika ( PH. No. 96695 60261) offering me a data entry freelance job saying that I was shortlisted for doing data entry job in company called “The job Pro”. I got a appointment letter by a mail and was asked for some details like Name age phone number etc along with sending adhaar card for registration. Then i recieved my login credentials for the website. They also asked me to digitally sign a agreement with some terms and conditions. After reading the agreement i thought it to be a genuine site and signed it. After signing it I got my task…I have to fill form from the given resumes ( data entry). First 3 days it was working fine .On 4 the day Anamika messaged me asked how many forms left the i said some 250 froms are left ..she told that if you want then you can take a day extension by paying a 1180 rs which would be refunded with the salary. I told that I will take if needed but now i didn’t wanted extension then. She said the if you need extension you need to take it now only till 12 of noon as her shift will get over and extension should be taken 2 days prior of the the dead line so I agreed n paind the amount. Then in afternoon the website stopped working.when I asked her she said it was a technical problem and will be sorted soon. After 2 hours it got sorted also .but after some time it again stopped working. She asked me to call a customer care no. (+91 8516866574) Which was not reachable. Next day also it was not working at all. When I asked Anamika about it she told that website has technical problem and you will get the extra time for it.The website was showing error in loading.Like this my deadline for the work which was 5 days for 500 forms was completed. Next day 25 th October 2024 i received a call from the help line n. (+91 8516866574) that your work is not completed and you have to pay the website charges along with the GST. I told the that website was not working thatswhy i couldn’t complete the task on time. She told me that your work was not up to mark . It doesn’t have 90 % accuracy hence for you the website is not working and we can’t extend the time also for you.When i asked for the proof she started arguing that your work was not accepted and it will be waste of time for them and I have pay the the amount of 6350 rs as website charges. I told the lady I won’t pay anything unless she provide methe proof she started yelling then I cutted the call and blocked her number as i realised that it was a Fraud.
Then on October 29 ,2024 I got a call and message from Advocate Rajat Singh Thakur stating that he will take legal action against me.(+917389960313) When I searched the advocate no. In the internet i found a similar complaint in the cyber crime portal from which i found that it was fraud and I am a victim of internet fraud.
