On 15th nov 2021, I was looking for a hotel in sasan gir manali (25th nov to 26th nov) on google. After checking different options I decided to make a booking in hotel sarovar portico. So I used the platform agoda.com (as the rate was also cheaper than others) and selected 2 delux rooms for 4 people and filled all the details The total total amount was 8732. Then I chose the book now pay later option, So it demanded my debit card details. As agoda is a very big and famous platform and i have used it many times in the past I trusted it, I filled my card details (Note : I haven’t login into my account) and proceeded with the booking, it took me to a portal named Retail Domestic PTMUM and demanded otp, but due to my trust and faith in agoda I thought it will reserve the amount in my bank and will deduct on the mentioned date which was 24th nov 2021, I filled the otp and submitted and instantly the amount was deducted and some technical error occurred on the page showing this transaction could not happen. I didn’t receive any mail or message regarding confirmation on the same day and on the next day as well. Then I called on the customer care no. but I couldn’t talk to the company executive as it was demanding booking id to hear the complaint but the id is not provided. & their support center chat have also demanded the same, so I didn’t know what to do then googled it and surprisingly I have found so many similar complaints. I strictly demand my money back from agoda.com
