I purchased an RV from CW in Katy, TX. I paid for the unit in cash, every cent… In order to do this, I cashed out my 401k, Pension & all Savings I had or ever will again. I executed an “AS-IS” Agreement for this purchase. Commencing upon my traveling back to California, the severe problems with the RV began. I am a single female and accordingly was nervous in making this type of transport aloan. Within one week post purchase I was hospitalized twice for CO Poisoning from a generator leak which entered into the front drivers’ side of the Coach, eventually leading to the rear of the unit where the hard-wired detector was mounted on the wall. The first time, LAFD responded to a call-out for an alarm sounding, disturbing nearby residents and resulting in their CO levels in excess to be determined safe, hence rendering me in the hospital for the poisoning. The second time, I was not so lucky, as I could barely crawl on my hands and knees to the exit door without passing out. Again, LAFD responded, levels taken were greater than the two days prior resulting in my hospitalization for secondary CO Poisoning. Approximately two weeks thereafter I received two separate citations, both for $750 each, however, the second citation included a photograph (attached) reflecting a Federal Mandate of June 2014 that the detector be replaced. My purchase was not until late summer, 2016. IT IS IMPERATIVE TO NOTE, I WAS FORCED TO SELL THE UNIT IN LESS THAN ONE YEAR POST PURCHASE DUE TO CO POISONING, FALSE ADVERTISING, HEAVY WARDROBE DRAWERS BECOMING UNHINGED, FALLING & HITTING ME IN THE HEAD, ENSEN FELL OFF THE REAR LADDER WHICH HAD LATER BEEN DETERMINED TO BE SOLDERED AS A BANDAID RESOLVE POST SNAPPING OFF, RENDERING HIM UNCONSCIOUS & HOSPITALIZED, PLUS TOO MUCH MORE! Camping World was knowingly negligent with no regard for human life, NOT TO MENTION, I lost approximately $55k+ upon the sale and NOW LIVE IN MY TENT! I have every shred of documented evidentiary proof of all lies, deception and failure to resolve issues mis-representing the unit at time of sale. Further, they held my Title hostage whereby I would not receive it unless I executed a Release of all Claims against Camping World in exchange for the Title and a box of fabric to reupholster the entire unit myself as just one of the fraudulent acts committed by originally advertised as having new leather upholstery throughout. Most importantly, throughout this entire hell, my little girl (Dogter) passed away at 4 years old from fluid exposure under the RV. I have been diagnosed with another recurrence of Cancer and cannot seek treatment while residing in a tent. I need help. There are so many more significant violations they committed, just too much to text each and every instance I had to deal with on a day to day basis with this company. I will not survive much longer under these harsh conditions, especially foregoing necessary surgery and treatment I am not able to start.
