I have reserved a three sharing room at colive Minneapolis on saturday 3rd june 2023 as the sales person contacted me told all the sugar coated words like 24/7 water, alternative days cleaning, 3 times food, lift, safe environment ect. After making a payment of rs 2000 as deposit i informed the sales person that i will be moving in by 7th june morning she also confirmed the same. When i reached on 7th june 2023 morning i could find any representative and i was waiting there from 7 am to 1 pm in the afternoon that too not even a drop of water i had in between. The sales person whom confirmed me the room has not updated and reserved a room for me and because of that they made me wait for almost 6hours outside in that sunny day. I was too tiered and were not in a position to shout at them. They didnt even allowed me to see the room, tge sales person mentioned that we cant see the room before payment. As a person who moved in from different city that too with lugguages it was a horrible situation for me and i made the payment of rs 11800 . In which 7000 is the deposit and they took rs 1200 as on boarding charges that till now i dont know why they gave taken that.
When i entered the room it was the worst day ever i gad in my life. The rooms were not cleaned for more than a month and bathroom stinks and nit a single drop of water in the bathroom. This happened for thé continuous days . The situation became unbearable as some came and knoced my room in the muddle of the night. Here arraised the question anout my safety and security and i informed them i need to vacate on9th june 2023. The sales person shouted on me stating that this all what they can provide and i cant vacate like that. Even if i need to vacate i need to pay thé compensation and serve the notice period and my deposit amount eill also be non refundable.
I literally begged then saying that the problem is not with me actually the problem was eith colive ad what the showed the room initially was entirely different from what i really experienced. This is a fraud.
On 9th i literally cried and informed them that i wanted ti vacate and i need at least my deposit back. But they didnt even provided me a single penny. I stayed only for two days that too only i know how i survived there. I am not sure how they got license to run a pg in this condition without proving basic amenities and security.
I want my deposit back they can take the rent but i want my deposit back
You are Absolutely Right. I don’t know how do they run this fraud company in Broad Daylight without any consequences. Bangalore Police is sleeping. They have done this fraud with thousands of people. They did it with me as well.
