Dear all,
I want to bring to your attention an unfortunate incident involving a fraudulent scheme I encountered recently. I received a message on WhatsApp promoting Aditya Bitcoin Trading, promising significant returns on investment within a short period. Initially, I invested ₹2000 and was assured a return of ₹5000 within an hour. However, they later demanded an additional ₹580 as a hidden charge, which I reluctantly paid. After receiving the promised amount, they persuaded me to invest another ₹5000 with a promise of further returns, only to demand an additional ₹5000 claiming technical reasons.
When I resisted, they callously informed me that their operations were beyond the reach of the law and dared me to complain to the police. This group operates under the name “Share Market Investment Group” on Telegram. Although my loss may seem insignificant, I am dismayed by the impunity with which such scams operate, tarnishing our trust in financial security and the effectiveness of law enforcement.
