I am originally from Andhra now staying in Faridabad doing my post graduation. I bought a second hand car(Santro Xing 07) here in 2020 ,as it’s life (15yrs)is about to expire, I decided to send to my home town(1st car in my family). I searched online for transport services and received many calls from different companies I asked everyone to send the price on what’s app and I decided to transport my vehicle from one company named (DELHIVERY TRANSPORT COMPANY) after talki with their sale executive Mr Rajeev Sharma for total 11k. I sent him the required documents and asked him to pick the car on 18th July 2022. At the time of pick up he sent me a LR copy which stated total amount 11k and I agreed & gave my keys to the driver. I didn’t receive any video of loading my car. On 20th he asked for the payment(50% advance &50% on transport) I said 50% I have to pay right to which he replied sir now car has been sent and will reach the destination within 2-3 days if possible pay “TOTAL” so I believed and paid total 11k and I asked for any receipt but didn’t receive any.
On 24th July around 10:30pm I received a whatsapp all from another transport (R.K packers & movers) saying sir ur car reached the destination please send the address .
As it was late night & my parent were asleep I told him to deliver the vehicle tomorrow morning & shared my father’s number .
The next day my vehicle was not delivered & didn’t receive any call from the transport(RK) so I called Mr Rajeev & his mobile was switched off
Later in the day RK transport sent me an invoice stating 37k and asked to pay remaining 26k to release the car.
Then I thought they were fraud. So I asked for the location & video of my vehicle but didn’t get any reply except for the continuous demand of the payment. I even said payment will be made after the delivery but they didn’t accept nor they send me the car location. I tried to mediate with many but failed. After 3days RK transporter said vehicle will be sent to Bengaluru & u have to pick up from there but Mr Rajeev(Delhivery transport) told me car is being sent back delhi and will have to pay double. I went to local police on 27th but no complaint was registered. & on 5th Aug I went to station again to register my complaint. My complaint was registered but till now nothing was done.
