Hi,
My SBI Debit card has been used for multiple transactions without my consent or without any OTP. All of a sudden I started getting messages on behalf of SBI that different amounts has been deducted at 9999999 (aka Google Proxima Beta Scam).
Deduction started with Rs 1, then Rs 7900, again Rs 1, Rs 999, Rs 999 and Rs 449. In between I called the SBI Customer Service and asked them to block my card immediately.
This is really surprising that how SBI payment gateway is allowing any transactions without OTP. This is a very basic protocol for any payment method. The SBI debit card I was not at all using for ATM withdrawal or online transactions. This is pretty strange that where did the hackers got my card details.
Complaint has been raised with SBI and I want them to refund the money after an investigation.
Thanks,
Devjeet Saha
