Formal Complaint Regarding Delivery Delay and Unauthorized Product Cancellation – Refund Issue

Text of Complaint by Nirav Vadhiya:

I am writing to lodge a formal and serious complaint regarding the unacceptable handling of my recent order Order ID: OD432414485702517100, Product Name: Apple IPhone 15 ( Blue, 128 GB) which was placed on 26th September 2024 from Flipkart.com. The product, which was scheduled for delivery by 5th October 2024, has not been delivered, and to my utter disappointment. I have emailed on 6th October to Flipkart due to undelivery of my product started doing follow up call with Flipkart regarding delay. They were keep giving me turn around time of 24 to 48 hours for the delivery and misguiding me. I have sent multiple emails and call to Flipkart and Delivery Partner Ekart Logistic Delivery Partner never received my call. On 8th October delivery agent call me for delivery but I was not able to receive product that’s why I requested to deliver my order on next day but on 9th October suddenly the order was canceled without any prior communication or notification.

I have spoke with below representative starting from 6th October. 1. Stuti (6th October) 2. Nagma (7th October) 3. Rituraj (9th October after order got cancelled) 4. Anuj (10th October on cancellation follow up) 5. Seema (10th October on cancellation follow up) One of their representative Rituraj created Issue# IN24101004182006461348 when I requested to talk with supervisor but I never received any call from their supervisor. When I asked about my cancellation they were keep informing me it was requested from customer and logistic team however I never requested any cancellation. They have cancelled order suddenly without my consent or maybe just request from the Delivery Partner Ekart. When I requested proof of cancellation they don’t have any answers and were keep informing me to place new order with new price. This level of service is completely unacceptable. It is the responsibility of Flipkart to ensure timely deliveries or, at the very least, to inform customers of any potential delays or issues. Cancelling an order without providing any justification or notice is a blatant disregard for your customers’ time and trust.

I demand immediate answers from Flipkart to the following: 1. A clear explanation of the reason for the delay and unauthorized cancellation of my order. 2. A formal apology for the inconvenience caused, accompanied by a suitable compensation for the significant disruption this has caused me. 3. A prompt resolution in the form of either reinstating my order or offering an alternative solution within 24 hours. As I am not getting satisfactory response and resolution within timeframe from Flipkart that’s why, I have no choice and escalating this matter to consumer forums and take legal action as per the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. I am ensuring that this issue is raised publicly to highlight the poor service and lack of accountability displayed by Flipkart. I expect a swift and appropriate response to this grievance. I am looking intention to pursue further strict action against Flipkart.

Refund Issue: Also, I would like to bring attention on Refund that; I haven’t received enough amount of Refund. There was 299 EMI processing fee and 53.82 IGST was never refunded from Flipkart. Please see attached screenshots for your reference.
