I hope this message finds you well. I would like to bring to your attention a series of incidents that I have encountered with Byju’s institution, which have left me feeling deeply dissatisfied and frustrated.
On July 1, I expressed my interest in enrolling in a course at Byju’s and was assured by their representative, Akarsh Raj, that a new batch starting in August would align well with my university exam schedule. Relying on this assurance, I enrolled in the course in July, expecting to join the August batch. However, I later discovered that I had been placed in the June batch, which was well ahead of my July university exams.
Upon realizing this issue, I promptly contacted Akarsh Raj to address the issue. He promised to transfer me to a different batch starting in August, as originally agreed upon. However, despite his commitment, no transfer was initiated.
In the following weeks, I tried to communicate my concerns and the need for course cancellation through numerous emails and phone calls to Byju’s. I encountered an individual who suggested extending my course duration to six months, which was not acceptable to me. Despite my refusal, this individual continued to pressure me into accepting the extension, only to fail in delivering the promised extension.
Due to ongoing miscommunication and lack of consideration for my concerns, I reached out to Byju’s through multiple emails, expressing my desire to cancel the course. In a recent interaction, an employee informed me that I needed to pay ₹9000 for course cancellation, a cost I cannot afford. Therefore, I am requesting an immediate course cancellation and a refund of my registration fee.
I am disappointed by the lack of transparency and professionalism throughout this process. As a paying customer, I expected accurate information, timely assistance, and a level of service that aligns with Byju’s reputation. I kindly ask for your intervention to resolve this situation by facilitating the cancellation and refund process.
Additionally, I am prepared to return the course materials, including handbooks, if provided with the appropriate address.
I am hopeful for a swift and satisfactory resolution to this matter. Kindly acknowledge the receipt of this message at your earliest convenience.
