Text of Complaint by Goutam Lokesh:

I am writing this letter to lodge a formal complaint against Ms. Poornima Maheswari for her deeply inappropriate, hurtful, and emotionally abusive conduct toward a fellow individual.

Ms. Maheswari, in a moment of anger or personal judgment, verbally cursed and emotionally attacked a person who is known to be straightforward and respectful. She went as far as to say, “You will never stay happy,” which is not only emotionally damaging but also completely unacceptable in any respectful community or academic/professional environment.

Following her statement, the person in question faced an extremely difficult and personal setback—the breaking of his marriage proposal. While we cannot scientifically attribute such outcomes to someone’s words, the emotional trauma and mental distress caused by such curses and negative declarations are very real and significant.

Her actions reflect:
• A blatant lack of empathy and respect for others’ emotional well-being.
• Verbal and psychological harassment, which creates a toxic and unsafe environment.
• Behavior that is morally questionable and socially unacceptable.

I urge the administration to kindly look into this matter and take appropriate action to counsel or warn Ms. Maheswari, ensuring that such behavior is not repeated. Everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and respect—especially those who conduct themselves with honesty and straightforwardness.

Thank you for your time and consideration.
