Bill no BM21291005117050 dt 18thJuly 2020 for the Mobile Post paid connection No 9880404497 in my name shows an amount Rs999 towards subscription to Amazon Prime which I have not asked for. I have raised this complaint by SR No 31 -3197007927494 through Airtel App.
Today I have received a call from your representative from no 7302638406 at 16.30 hrs and he has said that the I have to compulsorily pay the amount since I did not communicate to Airtel I do not want. I have pointed out to him that in the first place when I have not requested for this service how can Airtel Bill me for which his answer is not satisfactory. He said that I should have received a message asking me to opt out of the subscription. He has then given me a number of Appellate Authority 9972544865. I have dialled this no and given the SR no but the answer received is that the no is wrong. There is no further recourse on this number to speak to someone.
I am writing to state that I DO NOT WANT the AMAZON PRIME connection and I HAVE NOT REQUESTED FOR THAT CONNECTION. In absence of my request how can Airtel force me to pay for it. Earlier Airtel on its own had given a free subscription. I had never asked for that connection also.
Hence please immediately cancel the Bill No BM21291005117050 dt 18thJuly and send me a revised Bill without the Amazon Prime subscription. I am very clear that you cannot force me to pay for a service I have not requested.
Pl immediately attend to this complaint and render justice.
