- I ordered a product from fobiafashion.com on 18th July. It’s been more than 15 days but I did not receive the product neither I got any update from their end. Upon sending an email to enquire about my product I didn’t receive any response. I tried searching for a contact number, in order to speak to someone. Luckily I got a number online & I got connected to a representative of the website. Upon enquiring the person informed me that my order has been cancelled as the product is out of stock. I told the rep that I was not informed about the cancellation of the order neither I received any email or msg. To which he apologized and said that your refund will be initiated and was asking about the mode of payment done. After telling him the details. I asked him how much time would it take for the money to hit my bank account, to which he said it will happen now as I will have to process the request. He then said I will have to download their supporting application from play store n then I will have to put a request for the refund. He was asking me to download TeamViewer app, which is an application to get remote access of your device. I questioned him as to why he wants me to download it and how he will be able to refund my money through that app. I told him you have my number as well as my account details so you can simply refund my money without any hassle. To which he again said that I will have to process the refund request. He then asked me to put the request by Gpay. Basically he had created an UPI ID which had my number in it. he started enquiring about my debit card information. I did not share any details with him and he simply hung up the call.
