I ordered a Laptop from Flipkart during the recent big billion day sale, which was delivered on 25th of September. However, on opening the package, I noticed scratches on Laptop body . The delivery agent did not open the package in front of me .He directly asked the OTP and handed over the product. I immediately contacted the customer support to inform the same. They asked me to wait till the end of the day for the order status to be updated in the system as delivered and then raise replacement request. Once the status was updated, I raised a replacement request from the app. I was supposed to get a confirmation and the return was supposed to be completed within 72 hours.
However, there has been no call from Flipkart since then. I followed up with them a couple of times through the ‘Help centre’ section on their app, but there was no response. I received a mail on 28 September, stating that they are still looking into the issue and will be resolved by 29th September.
I contacted their customer support on 29th September for an update . The Customer support agent confirmed that the product would be picked up by 7 PM on 29th September .
However, I did not get any call from Flipkart nor from delivery partners regarding return pick up.
I got a call from Flipkart on 30 th September, but couldn’t answer it as it was during my work hours. I tried following up with them, but no response.
I am starting to get worried as the replacement window of 7 days ends on 2nd October. Flipkart kept extending the deadline without any reason. It seems like Flipkart is deliberately delaying the process so that they could deny my request after the replacement window is over. I came across many such negative reviews on internet about Flipkart denying requests, especially during the big billion sale.
I would request you to kindly look into the matter and help provide a resolution at the earliest.
