Text of Complaint by Utkarsh Mishra:

Ok I am going to write down a big story. Sorry but you have to listen to me completely.

You are the last hope for me.

On 20th Jan I bought Samsung S20+ mobile from flipkart in their sale for 41235/- which originally cost 79000 day before the sale and post sale it’s price is nearly 60000 now.

So this is the reason i spent so much and purchase this mobile. Was happy with the purchase.

on 22nd Jan I received my device. After checking it found 3 major issues:

  1. Sim not detectable
  2. Airplane mode half enabled half disabled
  3. IMEI number is missing

I was shocked that there is no IMEI number. I googled and found a device which is normally smuggled from abroad or duplicate ones do not have IMEI number. Now it’s a big concern that flipkart is selling such device so here some action should be taken against flipkart.

I placed replacement order same day.

25th Their tech person visits as flipkart do not trust their customers who spent nearly 41000 to buy a mobile after trusting them but they won’t trust us hence they send a technical person.

Technical person from Jeeves (Third party Vendor of flipkart) confirms the same and approves replacement.

EKART (Delivery team) person comes for pick and replace old mobile with new one. He denies pick up saying the Mobile does not have IMEI number itself. When the matter of the fact this is the reason I raised the complaint damnit!

Anyways So I callback their Customer department. They escalate it to higher team. Then Escalation team person calls me back to understand the history. She then raises another tech visit which I denies as already a person had visited. Then They cancel my replacement only. I am like what the hell!

Now she says as replacement has been cancelled twice so we cannot replace the mobile so we will refund you. I tried my best but she harshly denies my request. never thought for a single moment that this is the person who is suffering from our product only.

Then again EKART person comes for pickup and to my surprise he again refuses to pick the mobile with same reason.

i know this is very funny but think about my condition. They have big communication problem within their internal team. The EKART team does not listen to Escalation Team. Customer Team are just doing their duty by calling me again and again and harassing me as if nothing happened.

Now they have cancelled my replacement request. My return request. My refund request.

Now they have even stopped responding to my emails.

I don’t know whom else should i approach. But seriously now i understood they all are one team only. It has been 12 days but I am still holding this defective piece. My old mobile is not in good condition hence I am in need of a new mobile but I don’t know what to do. And as I bought this mobile on EMI hence I believe soon my first EMI date is Due and bank will  do their work as they have not got any cancellation order from Flipkart.

Their customer department have not stopped calling me and they will simply cut the call in between the conversation as if it doesn’t matter to them.

I am in loss of 41000 with the trouble I had since last 12 days. I have sent them nearly 10 emails but of no use. Kindly help me

I not only demand a smoother replacement procedure here but also reimbursement for whatever they have done with me in past 12 days. I am like begging for my mobile and money.
