Text of Complaint by Priankar Paul:

Dear Sir/Madam,

I placed an order with flipkart on 14th April 2022 through UPI.
The amount of Rs. 1044 was deducted but the order was not placed.
When checked with flipkart customer care, they said the seller did not receive the amount. I even checked with HDFC bank and UPI and both confirmed that the amount was cleared from their side.
Now, I raised a chargeback request, so the bank sent an email asking for the merchant’s statement or atleast an email confirmation to prove that money was not received.
Flipkart is currently ignoring my requests over email/chats/twitter and not even sending a simple email to confirm that the amount was not received.
I am currently in a state of stress because I am not sure where my money is stuck.
This is my hard-earned money and I cannot just neglect and move on. I am now reluctant to order further from flipkart with a fear of such an incident. Even in the past, I have faced issues with flipkart where my money was not refunded, but I ignored it because it was a small amount. But when I see a pattern, I am concerned being a plus member.
