Text of Complaint by Rajneesh Kumar singh:

  1. I have booked 3 flight ticket from Indigo through FlipKart. Now one of the name had a wrong name and I requested FlipKart 3-4 times to change it but they did not help me and each time they asked me to contact the airline. So, I called airline and they informed me to contact FlipKart since I have booked the ticket from FlipKart. After so many calls FlipKart Customer Care advised me to cancel one ticket through Airlines directly and claim for full refund. So I called the airlines and cancelled the ticket within 24 hours of booking (Implies that I am eligible for full refund). Since the ticket was booked through FlipKart I didn’t receive the full refund directly to my account.
    I mailed the FlipKart customer care for refund and they asked me to provide the endorsement copy of mail from indigo for refund. [Note that, FlipKart booked my ticket and they obviously have all the related mails.]
    I have mailed indigo after stating all the above and luckily they sent me an e-mail stating that one booking is cancelled with NIL cancellation charges. They also mentioned that FGZKYF booking is eligible for full refund as booking FGZKYF is cancelled within 24 HRS. I forwarded the mail to FlipKart and asked for the refund but they denied and again asked me to ptovide the same.
    I had raised the above issue to FlipKart on mail again and again but they were not replying on that ( they—customer care support team)
    The Flipkart support team who was asking continuously for cancellation endorsement copy, I mailed them and asked to provide me the confirm e-ticket numbers of 3 persons. At that time point they confirmed me that one ticket was canceled. Further they informed me the ticket was cancelled from airlines end and asked me to cancel the ticket via FlipKart for refund. In the cancellation process it shows zero refund so I did not cancel it via FlipKart and mailed them to confirm the full refund before I cancel it via FlipKart. Their customer care support team called me and asked me the issue and After that I received a mail that the ticket was cancelled and I got the refund Rs: 1854(approx).
    I was suppose to get the refund amount Rs: 3682(approx), instead I got Rs: 1854(approx). On the continuous follow up of 1 month they suddenly provided me the refund of only 1854 Rs only. According to there mails the mails exactly stated that the wahatever is your refund amount we will provide you the same. We understand the covid -19 situation so we calmly just following up it since from 1 month but its the cheating what they had done with us.After cancellation of ticket after one month we are getting the refund which is only 1854 while the correct amount of refund is 3682.Even the airline which provided us the mail of cancellation and refund is of full amount.
