Text of Complaint by Sajan Pradhan:

I had booked a round trip on 24th June 2022 from Bangkok to Phuket and return flight was on 26th June. I had requested for a change of date on the 27th for the return flight but they were asking for fees of 17000 to change my flight. When I was booking the flight it was clearly mentioned that there were no change fees if I changed my flight. Secondly I got an email from the airlines stating that I had two flight dates 26th and the 27th of June. I called make my trip to enquire about this but I was transferred to the hotel department of make my trip more than 20 times. I simply asked them to transfer the call to the flight dept but to no avail nor was there any supervisor that I could speak with. Finally after 5 hours of calling make my trip I got a rep from the flight department who promised a resolution would be provided in 4 hours but u didn’t get any call or email from them. I had to miss the flight and had to face mental stress and u was drained by speaking with mmt. In my vacation I spent almost my entire day speaking with them. They tried to rip me off by quoting me a price of 17000 to change my flight when a new flight booking was costing me 5000 which is ridiculous. Just because India doesn’t have any rigorous consumer laws these company try to rip and cheat customers. I am expecting a refund and Rs 50000 for the mental stress and trauma that I had to go through because of this.
