I booked 3 tickets to travel on 17th Sept 2022 from Belagavi(IXG) to Delhi (DEL). On 14th Sept evening I received a couple of messages saying – the SpiceJet flight from Belagavi to Delhi has been revised to the next available option on the new flight SG-472, September 19, 2022. That means they postponed my ticker for 2 days without proper reason.
I had a hotel booking in Delhi which is non-refundable. When I spoke to SpiceJet customer executive they said they can not arrange alternate flights and I have to rebook / Cancel flights within 7 days.
This was totally unacceptable and I had to book flights from a different location with additional charges to avoid the loss of hotel booking and continue with my trip plan. With new bookings no food and seat selection. I paid additional charges for that as well.
If they are not sure about running the flights they should stop this business else they should arrange an alternative plan for those who want to travel on the same day.
I request Gove India to take action against SpiceJet and mandate them to bare the passenger’s loss/ provide alternate flights on the same day without additional charges.
This kind of ignorance and poor services cost common people.
I request compensation for my additional expenses caused by SpiceJet. Due to SpiceJet, I had a lot of inconvenience and expenses.
