I was contacted by Bharti from the square yards team on March 31, 2023 for finding property and site visits where I was introduced to Sumit Gore (Square Yards- Manager) who promised things like additional partner discounts etc.(which all turned to be false promises post the booking). Sumit then promised hassle free loan processing through their partner Urban money and introduced Ganesh Dhoke (Urban Money) on April 9, 2023 to submit the documents for loan processing. All the requested documents were sent over mail from my end on April 11, 2023 and I was promised to have the sanction letter in a 2-3 days time.
Firstly wrong details were submitted to the bank for the loan processing
I was promised that since I am going ahead with Urban Money there will be NO loan processing charges(False marketing) and I ended up paying INR 3540/- on April 11, 2023.
The above amount was said to be refunded on receiving the sanction letter. No returns so far
The sanction letter was delayed to the extent wherein the builder was about to cancel my booking and forfeiting the booking amount which eventually was managed on my personal request. Finally post a lot of follow ups with Sumit and Ganesh, and even directly connecting with the bank, I happened to get my sanction letter by April 20, 2023. Post which based on the commitment from Sumit and Ganesh that the loan disbursement be completed within 2-3 days post the property registration, I made the remaining payments to the builder on April 21, 2023. Even the builder did, in fact, informed that they will charge interest if the disbursement is delayed. Since I had to travel out from Pune for work purposes, I was asked to travel back for a week along with my parents to Pune for the loan processing so we stayed there from May 13-21, 2023. I even had my parents(Sr. citizens) travelled along with me but for nothing as none of the commitments were kept by any of them.
During this period, I had to bear the travel & hotel costs for a week and all that for the fake promises. After repeated follow ups, Ganesh promised to collect the registration and builder documents but then he sent Abhijeet Alekar for the same on May19, 2023.
Since I had to return back to work, Abhijeet promised that he will get the signing process done at HDFC Bangalore for me and HDFC (my native place) for my Mother and that all will not take more than 7-8 working days.
Since then nothing moved for over a week. After multiple follow-ups with all of them, I was asked to pay Intimation Notice charges(INR 16200/-) and MOD charges (INR 23200/-) to Abhijeet’s personal account on May 28, 2023. I have been in contact with Gauri Shankar (Sqaureyards CRM) since May 1, 2023 and have been requesting since then to fast track the process. I have been continuously lied that the documents have reached Bangalore, will be signed today/tomorrow but the day never came.
Multiple times, I have arranged calls with them all and the builder CRM since the builder has already started charging the said interests. Even Shankar have been promised on the conference call by Sumit that he will connect with the builder to waive off the charges but no response yet.
After multiple follow ups on a daily basis, all I have received from all of you(Urban Money & Square yards) are just fake promises.
Now after all these harassment, financial losses, stress and fraud, I have been requesting them all to return my original documents back to me for over 2 weeks.
Abhijeet promised to return my documents on June 30, 2023 and money in the next 2-3 days but no response/action
Even yesterday morning, with Shankar on the call, Abhijeet promised that the documents will be returned in an hour. The documents have not been returned yet.
I am not able to contact Ganesh or Abhijeet both (Apparently they have blocked my number because every time I try to call them, there is half ring and the call goes on waiting)
