I am facing an finance charges issue on my credit card from last 6 months.
i contacted my personal banker ujjwal and Kavitha Sri and some other also, but it didn’t helped me.
But, i got many calls from HDFC bank people on the overdue charges and no one helped me till now.
let me explain the issue first and help me to remove the finance charges.
1) on sept 10th 2020, my credit card statement bill got generated with due Rs:5845 and i forget to paid before 30th Sept.
2) So, i paid the last credit card bill (Rs:5845) along with late fee (Rs:600) in Oct month (15th Oct).
3) i did Rs:400000 transaction on 14th & 15th Sept and that October month bill that i need to pay by 30th Oct.
4) but in Oct 10th credit card statement, i saw some finance charges Rs:12749 which is calculated against my total outstanding balance.
5) i didn’t know this rule and HDFC representative also didn’t told me this rule while taking the card in initial time and this is the first time that i forget to paid my old bill Rs:5845 in my last 6 years of history.
6) i am requesting you, please don’t mix the one cycle/month bill into another cycle/month and don’t put the extra Finance charges which is more Burden to customer in Corona time.
7) I paid whatever i used Rs: 401500 in oct month, but when i checked the last 5 months bill, the fiance charges dues are increased to around RS: 26000 and that amount is purely finance charges.
8) bank is applying a trick that its keep on increasing the finance charges every month and also did a reversal of some part of it instead of complete amount which is very less.
I got many threatening calls from HDFC and no one helped till now to layoff my extra finance charges.
the issue continue from almost 6 months and the finance charges are keep on increasing on my credit card even i paid all pending dues except the unnecessary finance charges.
I am not responsible for the increase in finance charges even i paid all the pending dues of my credit card.
currently, i blocked/stopped using my credit card and requesting you to help me in this critical situation.
Also, the personal relationship manager didn’t tell me this point of putting extra finance charges on outstand balance (2 months bill cycles) at the time of taking credit card.
Also, without my permission, the credit card limit is keep on increasing from 60,000 to 4,17,000 and i requested many times to decrease my limit.

Caution: i had frustrated & disturbed due to this issue from last 6 months and HDFC bank only responsible If i loose my job or life.
because of keep on getting calls from HDFC credit card dept., i can’t able to do my office work and can’t able to manage my professional/personal life.
could you please check my History and paid all my bills (Credit card bills & Personal loan bills) on time from last 6 years.
Please take an appropriate action against this issue immediately and please don’t prolong the issue as i was mentally disturbed because of this from last 6 months.
i didn’t know whom to contact to resolve the issue and i called many times to HDFC credit card customer care 080-61606161 also, but not able to talk with customer care as the options didn’t connected to customer care, just notifying the options.
Also, the amount RS: 2870 got debited on 12th Feb 2021 from my salary account without any intimation and its states that no secure to customers money from HDFC bank.
