Reaching out to you regarding my ongoing finance charge dispute with HDFC Bank.
It is in related to my HDFC Credit card number 5241810403942386. In Jan’20, HDFC bank didn’t send my bill on my registered email id. Upon contact their customer care, they said that this is due to some technical glitch and shortly they will send my bill to the registered email. When I received my bill for Jan’20, I saw that they levied finance charges on it because I missed to make the payment due to no bill received.
I made the payment later on IN Aug’20 for the used amount except the finance charges. But since Jan’20 till Dec’20 they levied the FC every month. I have already raised my concern many times regarding waiver of finance charge and over limit fee over it, but did not get any satisfactory resolution.
My card has been expired in Dec’20 itself and since then there are multiple recovery agents who are calling me on daily basis to get the payment of around Rs. 37,000 for FC. I went to HDFC credit card department as well, situated near Janakpuri, Delhi to get this matter close, but got no help.
This has worsen my CIBIL score. I need an urgent resolution on this. Please assist.
