I tried to make a payment at an international site on 6th July 2022 which was declined. Although, I have received the message of the transaction. I confirmed this with customer service on 7th July. The person informed me that the transaction has failed and the amount will be adjusted in the monthly billing statement. However, in the statement, the amount was added with the taxes and charges. When I enquired in customer support and report a complaint, the person on call did not inform or ask me about blocking my card. It puts me in a very precarious situation as I am supposed to make some payments during my international visit. I request to take an action against sbi credit card for providing falsifying info and not taking consent before deactivating the card of the concerned person. It is highly condemnable.
