False service claims of Airtel

Text of Complaint by Lalit Shewani:

I raised a request to shift my broadband connection on 8th of June an I am writing this complaint on 18th of June 2023. About the request, it was a connection shifting request from Powai to Thane area within the Mumbai zone, said local shifting as per Airtel. According to Airtel, such request are actioned upon within 24 hours with minimal interruption to services as in todays world a lot is internet driven and hence there is potentially cost associated to the Internet services that is beyond just the Internet bill that one pays. I have been escalating the matter to escalation team since last 3 days now but all the efforts have gone in-vain. Attached is the evidence of the timing that I have mentioned and also the false claim that Airtel does. The latest ETA I have been provided is tomorrow by 1PM but it is kind of the same assurance that I have been getting since last 3 days(which is just over the call and nothing in writing). Point of this complaint is that:
1. Do companies like Airtel understand how disruption of internet services impact their consumer and the urgency that such complaints should be dealt with?
2. Why are there false claims floating around from Airtel if they do not have the capability to adhere to them?
3. What is the customer liable to in case of such claims been made and broken

I have seen multiple similar cases while I was going through the internet, I am hoping that nobody ever has to go through such an experience ever.
