I placed an order on Flipkart Order ID -OD332638728586248100, Model – Nothing Phone 2A (Special Edition) vide your receipt dated 21/10/2024 by paying an amount of Rs. 23,107/-. At the time of purchase, I ordered the product on offer with a very high expectation and it was promised to be delivered by 30th of October 2024. Believing on the aforesaid representations, I spent the amount and bought the product mentioned above.
That however, the product mentioned above was not delivered on the promised date. On contacting the customer support team, I was promised that the delivery has been rescheduled for 04/11/2024, later extended to 06/11/2024. On 07/11/2024 the order was cancelled by Flipkart without any intimation. Also, the price of the order increased from 23,000/- to 28,000/- after the cancellation. Upon making a call on the same date, I was informed that they have misplaced the product and advised to place a new order after they assured that they will help get the product reorder for the same price which was originally offered. Now, the same has been denied. Aggrieved by the aforesaid problem, I lodged multiple complaints with the Flipkart starting on 05/10/2024, Incident: IN24102811582230350559 / IN24110120300675491301. It is pertinent to mention here that the concerned executive who was assigned with the complaint has advised me to contact after 24 hours and they will help reorder the product. As advised, I contacted again after 24 hours but the promise made a day earlier was denied, and was asked to reorder the product for the current price mentioned. Here is the reference ID – IN24110721264045099249 of the conversation I had with the Flipkart Support Team who promised a price match. However, the problem is still pending for a resolution. It has been concerning and a lot of discomfort, mental agony and inconvenience has been faced by me. Thereafter, I raised another complaint on 09/11/2024 with the Grievance Team and called the helpline multiple times but Flipkart was unable to provide a resolution or fulfill the promise made to me. That thereafter, I again contacted the Support Team and they offered coupon worth Rs. 500 but I declined the offer as I still have to pay extra for a fault made by Flipkart. It was also mentioned to me that there cannot be any solution to the aforesaid problem except that Flipkart can offer a coupon of 500 as goodwill gesture. Further, the aforesaid official admitted their fault but said that the company cannot do anything except that they can offer a coupon worth Rs. 1000 and later they offered Rs. 2000 from their end and asked me to reorder the same. They said, once the order gets delivered, they will send a coupon worth 2000/-. Upon their instructions, I placed the order and it got delivered, and now Flipkart says, they can only offer me 500/- as coupon instead of 2000/-. This offer was completely shocking since the company kept changing their stand every time I tried to sort out the matter. The aforesaid officials have stopped responding to my concern and have been avoiding the matter on one pretext or another.
