When I asked for airtel internet connection I was told Fibre connection is available at my place. I paid six months advanced rental of plan 799. Immediately after payment during installation process I am being told Fibre connection is not available at my place. Due to work from home and child’s school from home I had no option but to agree. Immediately after Jio launched 399 unlimited data airtel also launched 499 unlimited data plan and I changed to this 499 unlimited data plan. Now Fibre connection is available at my place but sales person is forcing to change plan from 499 to 799. While 499 fibre plan is given to new customers but for existing customer forcing to upgrade. sales person was totally unprofessional and mentioned I can do any number of emailbaji but if I want Fibre connection I have to upgrade to 799 plan. I had raised issue with email address of airtel CEO DESK from where I have been receiving communication but issue is still not resolved. The astonishing part is complaints raised by AirtelCEO DESK on my behalf are repeatedly closed without any action.
I am sure in near future Airtel will boast zero complaints and advertise the same in big way . complaints raised by AirtelCEO DESK raided on my behalf were closed without following Airtel internal processes where customer need to provide closing code.
If Airtel CEO DESK intervention also don’t help then I am not sure how should I proceed further to ensure I am not forced to upgrade to higher plan since currently at my place Airtel has monopoly.
