This is Sandeep Sharma from Ahmedabad.
This is to inform you that I have been Vodafone customer for over 18 years and in these years, i have not made a single ISD call . A couple of years back, I converted my plan to family plan accommodating four numbers, my father, mother, myself and my wife. Since few months, there have been charges levied which are completely false. In July, I was asked to cough up bill payment for ISD calls, that I was told were made from my mother’s number. However, I wish to state that we have never ever made any ISD calls from any numbers (as can be checked from call records of last 18 years) as we do not have anyone staying outside India. It seems the number has been misused. I had communication with the customer care teams and other higher authorities but nobody was ready to believe that we had not made any calls. To end the matter and relieve myself of this harassment, I paid the bill and requested to deactivate ISD calls and I received email from Vodafone company regarding the same (deactivating ISD from all numbers, please see email trail). Still, there were charges levied for other reasons and there were huge network issues and hence I decided to switch over to another operator, the moment I did that AGAIN they levied ISD charges on my mother’s phone number. I do not know what the policy is but if once ISD has been deactivated, how can it get reactivated on its own without customer’s permission and now I am being asked to pay up Rs 2500 for ISD calls which HAVE AGAIN NOT BEEN MADE. I do not know how to prove that no calls have been made by my mother. She is way too aged to go to the logs and clear all those things and manipulate the mobile phone.
I am sure you the system in place to check who has made the calls and the recordings thereof. I am inundated with calls and SMSes the entire day so I request you to PLEASE RELIEVE ME OF THIS DAILY HARASSMENT AND FRUSTRATION and guide me what should be done.
Please look into the matter and do let me know what is the genuine and actual amount to be paid for my bill. Being an honest citizen, I do wish to pay and have always paid my bills and this time is going to be no exception but please i should not be charged for something I have not used. (attaching below the trail of email regarding deactivation of ISD calls). I just hope you bring an end to my sufferings please. If any other info requierd, please do let me know.
MY PHONE HAS BEEN DEBARRED SINCE LAST TWO WEEKS AND STILL I AM EVERYDAY GETTING EMAIL TO PAY OFF THE BILL OR ELSE SERVICES WOULD NOT BE RESUMED. JUST WANT TO ASK YOU SIR, PLEASE TELL ME HOW TO SURVIVE IN THIS AGE OF TECH WITHOUT A PHONE, STILL I AM MANAGING BECAUSE I WANT TO FIGHT IT OUT THIS TIME AND NOT PAY FOR ANY FALSE CHARGES OR SERVICES THAT I HAVE NOT USED.
PLEASE LOOK INTO URGENTLY OR ELSE DO SUGGEST WHOM SHOULD I TALK TO, EMAIL OR MEET TO RESOLVE THIS ISSUE.
