Text of Complaint by Shraddha Pawar:

My spouse has recharged with Rs 2999 with Airtel International Roaming pack after confirming the network condition, services in Sweden.
The executive gave us incorrect information with regard to network details.
Upon arrival,the network wasn’t available and no calls or sms were getting sent.We called the Airtel customer care with regard to the issue and they suggested to re-insert the sim, switch off and on the phone, Select manual network, however we couldn’t succeed in getting the network.
When asked for refund since 2999 is a huge amount, Airtel denied saying that it isn’t refundable.
This is frustrating as my spouse cannot call or message from Airtel. When asked to port the sim to some other service provider Airtel doesn’t have any procedure where we can port the sim internationally.
What do the person living in abroad should do in such case?The mobile number is accessed over all the bank accounts, UPI’s in India and is important source of contact for any kind of communication.
