on 30th September 2021, saw an advt. regarding Airtel Xtreme Broadband connection and accordingly, I called the mobile number – 7596805778.

As per the telephonic conversation, the Airtel representative came to my house and checked the fesiability, the distance between my house and the nearest Junction hub. After checking everything, he told me I will be getting the connection and took my address proof details, and created the booking for the Broadband connection. Also at the same time, he told me to get the installation charges wave off, either I have to take a DTH connection or a postpaid connection. So I choose a DTH connection with Xtreme Andriod set-top box.

On the same day, I got the connection of DTH and also paid Rs. 1500/-. On 2nd October the network engineer from Airtel came to my house location and told me that I will not be getting the connection since the distance is more than 250 m.

After that from the same day till yesterday every day, I tried to connect with that service representative every day but neither he is picking up my call nor giving me any update on my connection. From the same day 2nd Oct, parallelly I tried to call the support number 121 and reported this issue. And every day I get a commitment that within the next 24 hrs the broadband connection will get installed, which never happened.

At last today, after crossing 6 days, finally, I receive a call back from the support team, that it will take another 10 to 15 days to get the connection and that is also not sure, whether I will get it or not. So, I told him, that what will I do with this set-top box if there is no internet because this type of set-top box will require high data and good internet speed to access the application & suddenly he disconnect the call.
today evening again I called the support number and told the same history and Sagar from DTH departement again gave me assurance like previous airtel CCE, that within next 24 hrs the connection will get installed.

Now at this time, I have few concerns, based on this lovely and wonderful experience:

Whether Airtel, such a giant good reputation company needs 6 days to give a newly welcomed customer, partial confirmation related to connection status.
Whether airtel doesn`t give any training regarding technical (what is max distance should be to get the broadband connection) and behavior towards customers, (at least pick up the call of a customer calling multiple times in a day to share the update). If yes, then knowing the distance on the first day 1st October, how he booked the appointment and till now he never picks up my call.
If I will not be getting the broadband connection then this Xtreme Andriod set-top box is useless to me, because no wireless provider gives unlimited internet with a stable connection. Hence I want you to process the pickup facility of this box and initiate the refund process (Rs. 1500/-) which I have paid during DTH installation.
